The Importance of Prioritizing Member Feedback and Continuous Improvement

Liberty HealthShare has always believed that its strength lies in its members, and this principle drives every decision the organization makes. The ministry’s commitment to listening to member feedback is more than just a slogan; it’s the cornerstone of its operation. Recent developments, such as the creation of the Freedom (catastrophic) and Dental sharing programs, directly result from listening to members’ needs and responding accordingly.

A Culture of Listening and Learning

The ministry understands that its growth and ability to meet members’ needs hinge on continuous communication and feedback. This is why it routinely reaches out to members through surveys and member votes, inviting them to share their thoughts, experiences, and suggestions. In a recent survey, more than 1,000 members responded, providing invaluable insights that will help shape the ministry’s future offerings.

Chief Executive Officer Dorsey Morrow emphasizes, “One of the points of emphasis in our operations is a commitment to listen well to our members. Our strategic decisions are shaped by your feedback.” This sentiment highlights how important it is to maintain an ongoing dialogue with members, ensuring their voices are always heard.

Recent Survey Results: A Snapshot of Satisfaction

A recent survey conducted by the ministry asked members about their recent interactions with staff. The results are encouraging. More than 70% of respondents reported that their experience with the ministry’s personnel was either “very helpful” or “helpful.” This positive feedback reflects the dedication and professionalism of the staff, who strive to provide exceptional service.

However, the ministry isn’t complacent. About 10% of respondents expressed that there is room for improvement, and the organization is actively reviewing these comments. “While this news is encouraging, it is not satisfying,” Morrow said. “We have more work to do.” This commitment to constant improvement demonstrates that the ministry values honest feedback and is dedicated to meeting – and exceeding – members’ expectations.

Exploring New Programs Based on Member Interest

Another crucial aspect of the survey focused on gauging members’ interest in potential new services. This is the same approach that led to the successful launch of the dental sharing program, which now boasts more than 1,000 members in its early stages. The survey presented members with six potential programs, including:

  • Virtual Fitness and Nutrition
  • Free Online Vision Exams
  • Medical Second Opinion
  • Diabetic Reversal Program
  • Free Acute Care Drugs and $5 insulin
  • Chiropractic and Fitness Discounts

The Chiropractic and Fitness Discounts, as well as the Free Online Vision Exams, emerged as the most popular choices among respondents. The ministry is now analyzing the survey results to determine the feasibility of developing these programs further. Additionally, members had the opportunity to suggest other prospective programs, and these recommendations will be carefully and reviewed as the ministry continues to evolve.

Continuous Improvement: Inspired by Excellence

The ministry’s dedication to improving every day is encapsulated in an internal “Town Hall” meeting where Morrow referenced Nick Saban, the former head football coach of the University of Alabama, who won six national championships during his tenure. Saban’s success was built on a process of focusing on the fundamentals and making incremental changes to eliminate mistakes. This approach resonates deeply with the ministry’s commitment to constant improvement. As Morrow stated, “I want us to continue that progress. The status quo is never acceptable. How can we improve tomorrow?”

This philosophy is what drives the ministry’s ongoing efforts to enhance the member experience.

Encouraging Member Engagement and Growth

The ministry recognizes the vital role that members play in its success. Word of mouth from satisfied members has proven to be the most effective way to expand the community, and the ministry has introduced several programs to encourage this. For example, the “Refer A Friend” program offers $150 for each referral who becomes a member for at least two months. Additionally, the Share the Power Ambassador Program allows members to earn recurring monthly commissions.

These initiatives not only incentivize members to share their positive experiences but also foster a sense of community and shared purpose.

Your Voice Matters

The ministry’s commitment to listening to its members is evident in every aspect of its operations. Members are encouraged to provide feedback and share suggestions on how the ministry can improve and increase the value of membership. As Morrow passionately states, “YOU are why this ministry exists! Thanks for being an engaged part of this ministry and helping to show the world how Christians love each other!”

This invitation to be a part of the ministry’s journey and growth is a testament to its dedication to serving members with compassion, transparency, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.

The ministry’s proactive approach to seeking feedback, learning from past experiences, and making necessary adjustments ensures that it remains responsive to its members’ needs. Whether it’s introducing new programs, addressing challenges head-on, or striving for daily improvement, the ministry’s dedication to its members shines through. By valuing every member’s voice, the ministry continues to build a community grounded in faith, trust, and a shared goal of member health and wellness.

For those interested in joining this journey, there’s still time to participate in the ongoing survey and make your voice heard. Your voice can shape a future where the ministry not only meets but exceeds the expectations of its members, all while reflecting the love and compassion that define its mission.
